Windows Mail Error Message

I have been receiving my mail except for 1 message that doesn't get delivered. I don't know how I am supposed to fix this problem. I have my sbcglobal.net account that comes through the Windows Mail. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Here is the error message I receive when I check my email.

Message number 1 could not be retrieved. Account: 'AT&T Yahoo!', Server: 'pop.att.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR problem retrieving message.', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800420CD

You may need to connect using webmail, if your email provider supports
it, then read that message if you can and then delete it.

Or try for help here:

RE: Windows Mail Error Message

i had the same problem. what i did was add my outbox to my taskbar, so i
could get into the outbox and delete the message that did not go out. once
deleted the error went away-poof- like magic! hope this helps.

Re: Windows Mail Error Message

Could you tell me how you did that? I am not sure how to add my outbox to my taskbar. I have went to yahoo.com and got my mail through there, but it doesn't retreive that message there either. This is so irritating! thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

Re: Windows Mail Error Message

Go to http://mail.yahoo.com and login with your sbcglobal.net credentials.
Then delete the stuck message.

Re: Windows Mail Error Message

Robert,

Thank you so much for this info as I was having the same probem since
September 2007. It was driving me crazy and I couldn't find a fix anywhere
until I came across this site. I deleted all the mail in my yahoo mail and
the problem is gone and now my mail is much faster also.
