Cannot view pdf. files attached to e-mails

Good Morning,
I am currently using Windows Mail for all of my e-mails. Many of the e-mails
I receive come in the pdf. format. I work from home and need to see them for
that purpose. When I click on the paperclip to see the attachement I receive
the following message in a box. "This file does not have a program associated
with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set
Associations control panel." Can anyone please tell me what I need to do and
where to do it?

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Lynn

Re: Cannot view pdf. files attached to e-mails

First of all, you need to have the Adobe Reader program installed.

Secondly, if you save that PDF attachment, can you open it
successfully by double-clicking on the saved file?

If the first two hurdles are passed, but PDFs won't open from inside
Windows Mail, apply this fix:

Let us know which step fixed the problem.
