| | can't send emails I have installed my yahoo account into Windows Mail. I can receive emails but can't send. The error message I get is: "Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'essai', Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com.ar', Server: 'smtp.mail.yahoo.com.ar', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F" I have Windows Vista Home Premiun and Norton Internet Security. Also ask them for their instructions for setting up to use your country's Yahoo email servers. |

| | Re: can't send emails I can't read Spanish, so there's no way for me to pull up Yahoo's email setup instructions for Argentina customers. However, the port settings are likely to be the same for all Yahoo mail servers. You need to change the outgoing port from 25 to 465, and enable the SSL option.
