| | Retrieving IMAP message stalls when message contains large attachment. I am using Windows Mail with an IMAP account. I have found that I am unable to open messages that have large attachments. The status bar at the bottom of the message window will report "Retrieving message... (n %)" with n increasing up to some random percentage and then stopping. The progress bar also stops progressing and after a bit of time I am prompted to "Wait" or "Stop." I hit Wait a number of times with no luck so ultimately I must hit Stop and there is no way to view the message. Is there any way to get Windows Mail to open IMAP messages correctly? |
