| | Email Stuck in Outbox I am using Outlook 2007 and randomly an email will get stuck in my outbox. I have no way of knowing if it gets sent or not. Today I sent and email to a group distribution list of 30 people. It got stuck in the outbox. I checked with two people on the list. They both got it but one's email had 5 people listed as receiving the email. She asked me why I only sent it to those few instead of the usual 30. The other had all 30 on her list. If it's stuck I can delete it. But I have no copy of it in my sent items folder. I have disabled Norton antivirus and restarted Outlook and it still stays in the outbox. I have also tried sending and receiving with "download headers in this folder" and it still remains in the outbox. Any suggestions? This is very frustrating! -- Linda |

This is very frustrating! -- Linda This will show you how to fix the stuck undeletable email message problem: The KB941090 update will just fix the problem for now. You must stop the cause to prevent it from happening again. Read the "First" section in this tutorial about antivirus and anti-spyware/adware programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the KB941090 Microsoft Update in the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem. Windows Mail problems Have a great day, Shawn |

If this works, you may want a replacement antivirus program. I recommend either avast! or AVG for home use, either one with a custom install that tells it to leave out the part that scans email, or NOD32 for business use: http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0?prd=aff http://www.eset.com/ |

| | Re: Email Stuck in Outbox Thank you Robert. I'm going to hold out for an Outlook specific answer if that exists! If I don't get one, I'll try your answer. Thank you! The program is just squirrelly and Microsoft should address these issues. -- Linda "robertmiles@xxxxxx" wrote: Quote: > > "Linda" <Linda@xxxxxx> wrote in message > news:2C8C8CC2-0744-4BB9-A191-53BC144F8B39@xxxxxx Quote: > >I am using Outlook 2007 and randomly an email will get stuck in my outbox. > >I > > have no way of knowing if it gets sent or not.
