| | I cannot send mail. Okay, earlier this week I had a hard time sending through windows mail to the gmail server, but after a complicated tutorial online that involved me editting certain files I was able to fix it. I recently added two new e-mail accounts, but neither of them allow me to send. It tells me this after it fails: The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re: Your facebook password', Account: 'AOL', Server: 'smtp.aol.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'This is just a test', Account: 'HuskyMail', Server: 'email.mtu.edu', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 2525, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F (I used port 2525 because on my college's website it said that if you have trouble sending through port 25 to use this instead.) |
