Vista - Messages not being sent from Outbox

I just started having problems with sending messages. I write them and send
them - but they stay in the Outbox and do not appear under sent items.. I
have tried closing and restarting Windows mail. I have tried clicking on
Send/Receive - but they just stay in the Outbox. This just started today. I
have also tried restarting my computer. Any suggestions??? Thanks in
advance for any help.

I'm having the same problem - just started yesterday. The error msg I get is
that the server has unexpectedly terminated the connection, with error
"0x800CCC0F", if that helps at all...

I downloaded the patch, did a restart, deleted the old messages, tried a test

Thanks Brink! I went into my AVG and disabled the email scanning .... that
seems to have solved the problem. Don't understand why it never happened
before but I'm happy to have it working again.

Gary I did start the install on "Live Mail" but it's not what I really want
at this time but will keep it in reserve if WM becomes a problem again.
