Since we have ruled out the antivirus possibility, that leaves two other
possibilities:
1. Your Windows Mail is corrupted, or
2. There is something non-standard about that server, which is an Exchange
server.
To eliminate 1), you would have to try a different email program, such as
Windows Live Mail:
http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview
To eliminate 2), you would have to try a different mail server.
You can get a free Gmail account:
http://gmail.com,
configure the server for POP access:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...n&answer=13273
then add that account to Windows Mail:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...y?answer=13276
(Those instructions are for Outlook Express, but they will work in WM.)
