| | Re: Outlook .pst file imported to Vista Mail You can't import a .pst file without Outlook being installed on the Vista computer. You could download and install the Office 2007 trial and do this. Or, find someone with Outlook on their computer, and export to Outlook Express .dbx and .wab files. OE files can be imported into WM/WLM. -- http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "JOHNV" <JOHNV@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:9602D942-2396-4BD9-98FB-8FAEF3013939@xxxxxx Quote: > All can have is .pst files, how do I import them to Vist's Mail system. > Not > happy. |

| | Re: Outlook .pst file imported to Vista Mail There seems to be lots of steps that are missing here. I do have Outlook installed on Vista, but I don't see any facility to export to Outlook Express .dbx and .wab files. There is .csv and dbf but they don't work. Besides, one pays a lot of money for Vista only to not have an automatic import system available. - Still Not Happy. | | Re: Outlook .pst file imported to Vista Mail If you have Outlook installed on Vista, you don't need to mess with the OE ..dbx files. Open Outlook, open the .pst file In Windows Mail, File - Import - Messages - MS Outlook I guess MS wants Outlook users to continue to use Outlook.... If you have Outlook (2003 or newer), why don't you use it instead of WM, unless its for the newsgroups?
