| | auto-correct as you type Is this feature available in Windows Mail as it was in Outlook (not Express)? Also, is it possible to get the Bcc button to stay on the future composing emails as that feature was in Outlook (not Express)? Thanks. |

| | Re: auto-correct as you type 1. No, not in WM. The newer Windows Live Mail seems to do a little bit of auto correcting, but I think it's because I have Office 2003 installed. 2. To turn on BCC:, in a compose message window, click on "View - All Headers", it should stay on. WM/WLM are not replacements for Outlook, they replace Outlook Express. MS still wants to sell Outlook. -- http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "Mary-K" <MaryK@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:96D02360-8CB3-44F4-8B7B-E0F3690599EC@xxxxxx Quote: > Is this feature available in Windows Mail as it was in Outlook (not > Express)? > Also, is it possible to get the Bcc button to stay on the future composing > emails as that feature was in Outlook (not Express)? To turn on BCC:, in a compose message window, click on "View - All > Headers", it should stay on. I find that it is best to set up all headers in a new compose window, and then close it, without sending that one. -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP. [DTS] UK |
