I get "mailto:joe@xxxxxx" "Application not Found..." I use an imported address book from another PC running Outlook express... Clicking "New Email" and adding contacts via the "To" 'form' works fine, and sends and recieves fine... Any Ideas.??? Thanks ------------------------- Steve |

| | Re: Windows Mail (Vista) Application not found The email addresses shown in the contact list are correct (No 'mailto')... the contact list (address book file) that I am using still works perfectly on my other computer on the network running Outlook Express under XP.. Just seems to be a problem with Windows Mail... or the configuration of Vista on this new PC... | | Re: Windows Mail (Vista) Application not found NB. Addition to above post... I'ts almost as if "Contacts" doesn't know that "Windows Mail" is the default program... I have checked to see that "Windows Mail" IS shown as the default Mail handler... -- ------------------------- Steve "Loony" wrote: Quote: > The email addresses shown in the contact list are correct (No 'mailto')... > > the contact list (address book file) that I am using still works perfectly > on my other computer on the network running Outlook Express under XP.. > > Just seems to be a problem with Windows Mail... or the configuration of > Vista on this new PC...
