| | Duplicated Junk Mail?! I have setup my Windows Mail to have a lot of "blocked" addresses & domains. But I end up with a copy of every junk item in both my inbox, and my junk folder. So it effectively is absolutely worthless. Does anyone know how to get Windows Mail to MOVE the junk into junk, rather than copy it?! Duh! |

To set up a rule to treat anything from a certain address or domain as junk, click on Tools, then Junk E-mail Options, then Blocked Senders, then add any addresses or domains you want to treat as sending only junk. Many junk mail senders use incorrect and constantly changing return addresses, so such junk gets past this filter. After you add any new addresses or domains you want on the list, click on Apply, then OK. |

| | Re: Duplicated Junk Mail?! Unfortunately, I think that my mail client has "glitched". No matter what I put the Junk Main setting to (none, low, medium, high), the behavior is the same. I Have a long list of "blocked" and "white-listed" addresses. But when a message comes in that is on my blocked list, it is duplicated - one copy goes to Junk folder, one remains in in-box. I cannot believe that this behavior is intentional. More likely, something about the registry is messed up for this client (things work ok at the office, same email accounts, same configuration, just works right there). I was hoping someone might have seen this and have a fix. Thanks |
