| Vista Home Premium 32bit | cannot open email from desktop icon or start menu Just bought vista home premium 32bit, using Trend micro internet security 2008. Cannot open email from the icon on desktop or the start menu. Have to shutdown system and then can open mail icon once. Have had computer 3 weeks and just now having this problem. |

Something appears to be preventing WM from shutting down? Disable any 3rd party applications from scanning your mail, particularly your AV or spam blockers? -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP : Mail.
