Lauout view of Contacts list

In my old OE6. layout, I could have the contacts list showing down the left
bottom pane. This I found to be useful as it meant I could right click a
contact & among the list of commands, I could select "send email'.
This now doesn't seem to be available to me...? Is there some setting I can
use to display my contact list in this way please.
Step by step instructions would be of help if the above is still possible,
thanks.

Re: Lauout view of Contacts list

There is no option within Windows Mail to display contacts like
they were in OE. The recommended method of starting a new
email in Windows Mail:
1. Click on "Create Mail."
2. Click on "To".
3. Select recipients.

Re: Lauout view of Contacts list

No, you can't put it there...
but since Contacts is just a folder, you can leave it open all the time.
Then you can right-click on a contact, and select "Action" - "Send email"
