| | leaving messages on the server Dear All, I use vista mail as a secondary e-mail programme. How to I set it to leave the message on the POP3 server and not delete it fom the server when I delete the message in vista mail? This owuld leave my prmary network computer free to collect the mail. Please advise. Regards AMcF |

| | Re: leaving messages on the server If both computers are using the same e-mail address, on both machines: Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Check: Leave a copy of messages on the server. On one machine only, check to Delete messages after X days to assure the server does not get clogged up. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "Alex McFarlane" <alex@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:75515AE3-FAD5-4BE7-8733-A0A4B488C95A@xxxxxx Quote: > Dear All, > I use vista mail as a secondary e-mail programme. > How to I set it to leave the message on the POP3 server and not delete it > fom the server when I delete the message in vista mail? > This owuld leave my prmary network computer free to collect the mail. > Please advise. > Regards > AMcF |
