saying low memory or not enough disk space, & I only brought the laptop 3
days ago & only registered my email today I had 2 folders & 3 messages in my

Click on View, then Layout in Windows Mail. If there is no check mark in
the box before Folder List, click on this box, then Apply. Click on OK.

Or, if you prefer, hover your cursor over each of the symbols to the right
of Send/Receive on the blue bar near the top of your Windows Mail
window until their labels appear. Click on the one labelled Folder List.

Re: Lost folders

This type of problem is usually caused by running an incompatible
antivirus program. Windows Mail is not compatible with most
McAfee, Norton and Trend Micro security programs. Those
programs tend to corrupt Windows Mail over time, and will need
to be uninstalled, NOT just disabled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, try Windows
Mail again. If no improvement, delete your mail account, restart
Windows Mail, then recreate that account.

At your convenience, download and install a more compatible
antivirus like:
AVG free edition: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0?prd=aff
or
Avast free edition: http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

With either of those, during the install phase you must select custom
install, and then deselect the email scanning option.
