| | Can't set up e-mail account Just got a new gateway computer and I am trying to set up windows mail to get my yahoo mail and I can send e-mail but everytime I retrieve i get the same error message...Message number 1 could not be retrieved. Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'localhost', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR message 1 could not be downloaded', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800420CD. I have windows live care one security system if that matters. Please help this is killing me. Thank you. |

| | Re: Can't set up e-mail account Apparently that "localhost" thing is used with YPOPs. We can't provide support for what may well be a YPOPs problem. One thing you might try, go to http://mail.yahoo.com and log in to your webmail. Delete the oldest message.
