Vista Tutorial - emails stuck in OUTBOX

I got 1 email stuck in the outbook:

(1) it has been sent and can be found in "SENT" box,
(2) but it still appear in "OUTBOX" and cannot be deleted (I tried many
times and said "unknown error:",

Now I cannot send other emails. All outgoing emails are stuck in the
"OUTBOX". Could someone help with this? Thank you.

Try this Microsoft fix:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Incidentally, although it only mentions 'outbox', it works for all folders.

Hi Tony,

This will help show you how to fix the stuck undeletable email message problem in Windows Mail.

The KB941090 update will just fix the problem for now. You must stop the cause to prevent it from happening again. Read the "First" section in this tutorial about antivirus and anti-spyware/adware programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the KB941090 Microsoft Update in the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem.
