Welcome to the Vista x64 Forums

I've seen this error and have read that it's related to AV software. Try disabling/uninstalling any AV software. You might also take a look at this tutorial about Windows Mail errors: Windows Mail problems

    I hope this helps.

Does your connection to that server cross over from one internet provider's
equipment to another's before it gets there? If so, such connections to
port 25 are often blocked to cause trouble for spammers.

Also you may want to check your setup:

    <http://www.comcast.net/help/faq/index.jsp?faq=Emailtop17686&cookieattempt=1>

These instructions were written for Outlook Express, but should also work
under Windows Mail as long as you avoid the One Click Fix and the
instructions don't call for the HTTP protocol.

I tried what you told me to do. It is actually trying to send it now but I get this message:

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was 'najerad@comcast.net'. Subject '', Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.1.0 Authentication required', Port: 587, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

    Re: Cannot Send email

Perhaps you overlooked one part of the settings.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select the account, Properties, Servers,
make sure "My server requires authentication" is checked.

    Re: Cannot Send email

It doesn't look like tribacin.com is an Internet service provider (ISP).
They don't even have a website.
Try substituting your ISP's SMTP server for that one.
