| | Vista home premium All "Sent" mail seems to have disappeared as of March 17. Please advise where the Sent folder is located to determine what may have happened. I had kept all Sent emails from January 7, and today only emails from March 17 are visible in the Vista Mail. Please note: I do have access to my Sent mail via my IMAP account, but there seems to be a glitch in the Vista Mail program: or did I do something to delete all my sent mail? I do not recall deleting these emails, and I would not consciously have done so as I use Sent mail for reference? Can the Sent Mail be retrieved? Any ideas? Cordially, Bob |

| | Re: Vista home premium With an IMAP connection, Sent Items are often stored on your email provider's machine, not your machine, and many email providers tend to erase the older messages occasionally. You may have to ask your email provider if they do this, and if they keep any backups when they erase the messages. "Robert J. | | Re: Vista home premium Thank you . The issue is: I kept all my Sent Items stored on my computer in the Sent Item folder located in Local Folders just under Outbox, which is just after Inbox. I realize the benefit of the IMAP but my Sent Items disappeared from my Sent Items Folder on my PC, in the Local Folder portion of Windows Vista Mail. This is troubling. Fortunately I do have the IMAP access. But nonetheless the issue remains: where did my Sent Items Folder, and all my sent email information go? | | Re: Vista home premium If any folders have disappeared, click on the triangle to the left of Local Folders to make most folders appear or disappear. If only part of the messages in a folder have disappeared, it sometimes, but not always, helps to click on that folder, then View, then Current View, then Show All Messages. "Robert J.
