| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: unknowen error This will help show you how to fix the stuck undeletable email message problem in Windows Mail. The KB941090 update will just fix the problem for now. You must stop the cause to prevent it from happening again. Read the "First" section in this tutorial about antivirus and anti-spyware/adware programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the KB941090 Microsoft Update in the "Second" section to fix the stuck message problem. | | Re: unknowen error I have the same problem. 941090 has not help. Messages I cannot delete I have both in Inboz and Outbox. These messages look like this: "Message could not be displayed Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again." If neither helps, but you have a message that refuses to open, move to the Drafts folder, or delete, you probably need to try the WORKAROUNDS section of 941090. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090 If, instead, you get such a message when reading a newsgroup when trying to read a message that partly leaked through your message rules but won't open, just click on the message, then the Drafts folder, then the newsgroup folder again, and the message causing the problem will disappear. |

| | Re: unknowen error Have you tried both the basic procedure and the advanced workarounds given in KB 941090? If none of that helped, or you don't want to bother with the advanced workarounds, upgrade to Windows Live Mail: http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "Phagelab" <Phagelab@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:84DCC8CA-42E7-46DA-BE19-844A89F414BD@xxxxxx Quote: > > > "Phagelab" wrote: > > The messages I cannot delete look like this: > > Message could not be displayed > Windows Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this > message.
