Delete settings

When I delete a message, I do not want to open the next message in my inbox.
I want to back to the inbox. Is this possible? It is is Outlook.

For problems with Outlook, you're likely to get a better answer in
newsgroup:

microsoft.public.outlook.general

Mention which version of Outlook you're using, and that it's running under
Vista, in case it matters.

Re: Delete settings

You need Exchange to be set up with Outlook to do what you are asking. Do you have Exchange installed???

Re: Delete settings

Apparently you read a message by double-clicking its listing in the
message list pane. This opens it in a separate window.
In order to not have the next message opened automatically,
do not delete from that window; close the window, then delete the
message from the message list pane.
