What program are you in when you are writing the email?
If we knew exactly what you were doing to cause Windows Mail to
pop up, we might be able to devise a workaround.

I would fire an Internet service provider who says they can't help me,
especially when MSN and Windows Mail are from the same company!

If you do not want to lose your @msn.com email address, one alternative
is to set it up in Windows Live Mail.

1. If you use Windows Live Mail it does not force you to use a
different email account. You can continue to use your existing
@msn.com email address.

2. You haven't really defined HOW you currently write emails
and with what program.
