Vista - time outs with email

When I read my email messages on-line I get time outs when I try to go to the
next message. I jusat see the circle cursor and can't close or delete the
email. Windows Mail appears to disconnects me so that I have to close email
and re-open to get the next message. If I go off-line I can read my messages
ok.

I have checked my internet connection but it does not break.
I have the same problem on my other machine with XP.

Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change please?

Try turning off email scanning in your anti-virus program, and disabling any
anti-spam software, to see if it helps.
