Vista - windows mail

when i try to send mail from my windows mail it say's it can't connect but
im on line with a cable modem

Those don't look like complete error messages. If you need more
help after this, click on them and see if you can copy the entire
error messages to your next message.

pop3 is not a valid server name. To find the ntlworld.com instructions
for setting up to use their email servers, which should include the
correct server names, see here:

You have to go down a page or so to find where they mention
@ntlworld.com.

If you can't open .pdf files, download and install Adobe Reader.
Don't install the Google Toolbar; it causes problems in Windows
Mail.
