| | outlook e-mail setup I am having some problems getting an outlook e-mail setup, I followed the prompt from the tools box but nothing is working. Once I put in my display name and the email address Shaquinawright@xxxxxx it keeps asking me for some other things like ISP, POPP and I don't where to find them or where there are. Can you help me please. -- Shaquina M Wright |

Otherwise, you need to choose an email provider and get their instructions for how to set up to use their email servers. Most people choose their internet providers as their email providers also, since most internet accounts include one or more email accounts. The instructions are often available somewhere on their web site; if not, you need to call them. For more questions about Outlook, you're likely to get better answers if you ask the questions in a newsgroup intended for Outlook users, such as: microsoft.public.outlook.general |

| | Re: outlook e-mail setup Looks like you are getting online through a Cingular (now AT&T) cellular card. I don't think they give out email addresses. If not, you can get a free email address from Gmail: http://gmail.com Then, configure that account for POP access: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...n&answer=13273 Then, setup that account in your Windows Mail: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...y?answer=86383 -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "Shaquina M Wright" <Shaquinawright@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:e3r$1rnkIHA.5396@xxxxxx Quote: > > I am having some problems getting an outlook e-mail setup, I followed the prompt from the tools box but nothing is working. > Once I put in my display name and the email address Shaquinawright@xxxxxx it keeps asking me for some other things like > ISP, POPP and I don't where to find them or where there are.
