Vista - Can't sent mails with windows mail

I am able to receive mails but very often i can't send those in the box to
send out.. Sometimes it takes more than 2 days to go out as now . Actually,
two of them go out after one day waiting while others stay still in the
box.
I use windows mail [Version 6.0.6000.16386 (vista_rtm.061101_2205) ]
and windows vista
In Spain the use of Yahoo is free.

Looks like you include send errors from two different accounts.

Unfortunately I can't verify whether your settings are correct
since I can't read the Spanish email setup directions at
http://es.yahoo.com/

It is unlikely that those directions require you to enable SSL
for port 587. SSL is not used with port 587. Why aren't you
using the same settings (port number/SSL) for both accounts?

My settings are asYahoo indicates in its setup directions (SMTP port 465)
but I tried SMTP port 587 too because I read in internet that this one was
another valid SMT port if 465 was not working.
As you can see, both accounts with both SMTP don't work as the message
indicates that there is an error with the server.
I tried many settings but really, now, I don't know what I can do with my
yahoo accounts that I usually use.
I have other accounts of other Companies which are working good with the
same settings and SMTP port 465).
Would it be possible that Yahoo does not work good with Windows mails?

I can't send mail from windows mail either. I've tried customer service and
they just don't get it. Then at times I don't get it. I just want to send an
e-mail !!!!!!!!!! I didn't get the answers to your question. I need help big

Most email providers allow connecting to the outgoing email server on
only perhaps two of the 65,000 ports available. Which two depends

had the same problem. turn off the antivirus protection for outgoing and
incoming mail. you are still protected with the antivirus program. worked
for me
