Vista Tutorial - Unable to open attachments in winddow mail

When I click on attachments, there is no display of "opening Mail Attachment" dialog box, system locks up. have to use ctl-alt-del to return to the mail window

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them cause assorted
problems in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately.

I'm not familiar with that one, either as a source of problems or otherwise.

Wait for answers from others before you decide whether it is worthwhile
to uninstall it to see if that helps.

If it offers the option to disable email scanning, leave it disabled and see
if that helps.
