| Guest | Messages to this newsgroup disappear when downloaded? I've noticed that for the last few days, when I download this newsgroup's messages in the morning, initially about 140 messages than the ones I download appear in the number of unread messages for this newsgroup. Are they all from people who have earned a place in my news rules list (killfile) or does one of the recent Vista updates delete them as spam? |

First off go to tools>options>read, and remove the check mark from get ### headers. Do a Sync all from the tools menu, (that button can be added to the toolbar, via customise). Now as belt and braces, while viewing this group, go to tools>get headers, those combined should show all available on the server. You know, to have 'show all messages' selected in view>current view, so I will not mention that :-) HTH? -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP : Mail. [DTS] UK. |
