| | cannot start microsoft outlook Brought a new pc with vista on it, now I cannot open the old pst files located on an exteral drive. Therefor I installed Office 97, all applications do work except microsoft mail, the error message is: cannot start microsoft outlook. How to read my old pst's. For more, see http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm It isn't clear to me whether you are trying to use Windows Mail now.
