| | Re: Can not send email I was also unable to connect to smtp.west.cox.net, either on port 25 or port 587. Not sure what is going on. Perhaps that server will reject connection attempts from non-customer IP addresses. One way to avoid this is to switch your outgoing connection to a different port, but cable companies are slow at making any other ports available. | Vista Business | Re: Can not send email According to Cox website (in an obscure place), Cox is evaluation the new security approach used in Vista and is presently NOT compatible with OUTLOOK in Vista. Surprising that they haven't made it compatible yet. |
