| | Re: my e mail What is the "it" in "it said"? Who is your email provider? They will have a web page that explains how to set up email. If you need more help, give us the part of your email address after the @ symbol. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "hp laptop pavilion dv2000" <hp laptop pavilion dv2000@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:AE401C2F-2C2D-4F5B-A83F-218D837DCA5B@xxxxxx Quote: > dont know how to set up my email i did everything it said and still having > trouble |

Many people choose their internet provider as their email provider also, since most internet accounts come with one or more email accounts. If they haven't written instructions for Windows Mail yet, their instructions for Outlook Express should also work under Windows Mail if they don't call for the HTTP protocol. The instructions are probably somewhere on their web site. Or, you could tell us who your email provider is and see if anyone here already knows where to find their instructions. If you have followed their instructions and still get any error messages when you try to send and receive mail, right click on the error messages and copy the entire error messages to your next message. |
