| | Attaching photos from My Pictures When sending picture files, I always select several from a file, right click, choose "send to mail recipient", choose picture size, attach, and then a blank email document with pix attached pops up. HOWEVER, on my neighbor's PC (Vista Home Premium), using the SAME PROCEDURE to attach photos to an email, it DOES NOT BRING UP A BLANK EMAIL document. Can someone explain what needs to be done so he can send multiple photo attachments (with resolution reduced) with an email? Thanks |

| | Re: Attaching photos from My Pictures Is Windows Mail his default email program? Chances are, it does not have all of its default protocols assigned. Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item: "Set your default programs." After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on Windows Mail. If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults" then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (WLMail) "jbb313" <jbb313@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:8F23AD2F-9689-4441-8773-D51165DD054F@xxxxxx Quote: > When sending picture files, I always select several from a file, right click, > choose "send to mail recipient", choose picture size, attach, and then a > blank email document with pix attached pops up.
