Vista - Can not open or save attachments in Vista Windows Mail

Hi guys

This is driving me

so I hope someone can help.

For some reason

a few months ago Windows Mail (not Live Mail) stopped letting me save or open attachments I received or even sent out.

This has meant that I have had to forward all mails which are important to hotmail or someother web mail just to save the attachments.

Please can you help.

I have AVG anti-virus and Vista Home Premium.

Did you use the standard install for AVG? If so, it sometimes helps to
uninstall it, then do a custom install where you tell it to leave out the
part that scans email.

Also, click on Tools, then Options, then Read. If there's a checkmark
in the box before Read all messages in plain text, click on this box,
then Apply. Click on OK.
