| | email attachments I cannot open attachments that are Excel files from my email. It sends me to a notepad and it is not legible. How can I solve this problem? -- rachel t hughes |

| | Re: email attachments You need to go to Default Program (either on START menu or in CONTROL PANEL) and set your Excel app, or viewer, or clone app, as the default for that file type extension. Like John said, do you have Excel or Viewer or a Excel "open office" clone? Open Office is a freebie so why not get that if you don't have Excel? I have WordPerfect Office 3X and that handles my Excel files.
