cannot send emails but can receive

I cannot send emails..

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was 'noreen@xxxxxx'. Subject 'Re:
Message about your timeshare through www.MyResortNetwork.com ', Account:
'mail.atlantisfamilyfun.com', Server: 'smtp.sbcglobal.net', Protocol: SMTP,
Server Response: '530 5.7.0 Authentication required', Port: 25, Secure(SSL):
No, Server Error: 530, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

Are you sure you've enabled authentication and possibly SSL in the correct
places? See if this leads you to instructions on what's required:

Also, does your connection to that server cross over from one internet
provider's equipment to another's before it reaches the server? If so,
such connections to port 25 are often blocked to cause problems for
spammers, and you need to look for a way to use some other port
instead. Just trying all the ports is a very slow way to find out, since
there are about 65,000 ports available.

Re: cannot send emails but can receive

Why are you still using smtp.sbcglobal.net when AT&T/SBC has
been warning its customers for about a year already that the old
servers and old settings are going away?

Use the new server names and settings shown here:
http://helpme.att.net/article.php?item=10918
Scroll down to the bottom of that page where the manual settings are.
Also make sure "My server requires authentication" is checked.
