| | Sending mail to external hard drive I seem to be having a problem backing up my e-mails to an external hard drive or online data storage. I always get a message that says "Are you sure you want to copy this file without it's properties? The file has properties that cannot be copied to the new location" It said this for all 394 of my messages. Any ideas? |

The preferred method is from inside Windows Mail: File, Export, Messages. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP "Cheryl231" <Cheryl231@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:6FD4D7DE-A14D-4765-9CCB-F441AECC9269@xxxxxx Quote: >I seem to be having a problem backing up my e-mails to an external hard >drive > or online data storage. | | Re: Sending mail to external hard drive Hi, I did the mail, export, messages to a new folder. That part works. It's when I try to send that folder to the external hard drive is when I appear to have a problem.
