To make an icon for opening Windows Mail, go to your desktop, then
double click on Computer, then C:, then Program Files, then scroll down
the list to Windows Mail and double click on it, then right click on
WinMail.exe if you see it on the list or WinMail otherwise, right click on
it,
then click on Create Shortcut, approve putting it on your desktop, then
close the window created during this procedure.
