Vista - Can not send emails mcafee blocking it

i can get emails but every time i try to send one out it goes to outbox and
then i get a message from mcafee saying One or more e-mail messages cannot be
sent.
Details View the log
After you verify the format of your recipient addresses, McAfee recommends
that you resend those messages from your e-mail program.

when i view the log it then tells me this e-mail scanning encountered a
problem: this email message cannot be sent. After you verify the format of
your recipient addresses, Mcafee recommends that you resend those messages
from your e-mail program

Command sent: MAIL FROM: <LFIEGEL@xxxxxx>

COMMAND RECIEVED: 553 Authentication is required to send mail as
<LFIEGEL@xxxxxx

If you want to be treated as shouting and therefore receive fewer answers,
post in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
