If you've followed the posts in this newsgroup for any length
of time, you know that most of the regular responders here
are not enamored of Symantec Norton antivirus. It tends to
cause problems with Windows Mail. The only way you can
be sure it is or is not the culprit is to uninstall it, reboot,
then try Windows Mail again.
One other option is to upgrade to Windows Live Mail, since
it is not so prone to corruption from antivirus programs. http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview
CC= carbon copy (from the days when typewriters were
used for all official correspondence).
