| Vista Home Premium | Windows Mail Error I am running Vista Home Premium with Windows Mail. My problem is that Windows Mail stops interacting with Windows and drops the internet connection. Any suggestions since requesting a solution from submitted problems does not provide an answer? |

Also, many problems in Windows Mail are caused by interference from an antivirus program, antispyware program, or antispam program. What if any of those programs do you have, and have you ever had a Norton or McAfee antivirus program installed on that machine? http://users.tpg.com.au/bzyhjr/liszt.html |

Did you then run this cleanup program often needed after its uninstall program leaves too much behind? <http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039> Did you do a standard install for AVG? If so, it often helps to uninstall it, then do a custom install where you tell it to leave out the part that scans email. http://free.grisoft.com/ww.download?prd=afe After either of these changes, it can help to remove your email account under Windows Mail, then restart Windows Mail and add the account again. Also, check if you have the Google Toolbar program installed (not some webpage that offers a Google search). If you do, uninstall it. Check if you have any programs installed with SMS in their names. If so, give us their full names. |
