question.

i'm trying to set up my yahoo account as a second email. im getting this
error when i trying to recieve emails. i havent tried sending them yet:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'login.yahoo.com', Server:
'login.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

any help would be great!

If you haven't yet you need to " upgrade " to Yahoo Mail Plus @ $19.99 to be
able to :


a.. download your Yahoo! Mail in an email client, such as Outlook
b.. forward your Yahoo! Mail to a different address


This is from Yahoo mail site.

As Mark's response indicates, the free US-based Yahoo accounts don't
get POP access, only web access via a browser.
