This only happens in my email, when I delete a email it will always delete
the one below it also, sometimes when I click on an email it opens it instead
of highlighting it, this is a real problem as I always have to go to my
deleted email and find an email I did not want deleted.

This could indicate that your mouse settings make some of your single clicks
act like double clicks instead.
