| | Cannot delete from deleted items folder Hi I know there are many threads on the above and have tried downloading the KB041090 fix. I do use 32bit Vista Home s/ware. However, it says that this programme fix is not applicable to my system....so I also tried the 64bit patch and this gave me the same response. Everything was running just fine until about a week ago.... I do use Norton Antivirus, but it expired about a week ago and I have reinstalled it today - neither action seems to have made a difference to the fix issue. Any ideas anyone. I currently have about 200 e-mails that I could do with getting rid of... Thanks -- Portrait Photographer |

If that doesn't help, you may have to try the WORKAROUND section of the KB041090 description. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090 |

| | Re: Cannot delete from deleted items folder Did you enable showing hidden and system files before looking for the WindowsMail.MSMessageStore file? I think it's one of those. | | Re: Cannot delete from deleted items folder First, if you haven't already done so, you need to change your Folder Options so you can see hidden files. Secondly, the exact location of the WindowsMail.MSMessageStore file is given here: Tools, Options, Advanced, Maintenance, Store Folder. Typically, that location will be: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\ -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP "Alison K" <AlisonK@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:F2ECC0F1-1483-4EFE-BCEB-CFDD8EBF9827@xxxxxx Quote: > Hello Robert > > Thanks for the sp1 advice.
