| | Opening PDF file attachments Has anyone found a way to get PDF attachments to open by clicking on the attachment icon? I know that you can save and then open the file, but that is a pain. I tried Windows Live Mail and it too returns the "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action" error. PDF files are properly registered and do open from Windows Explorer. |

| | Re: Opening PDF file attachments Try this. Save the attachment to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With | Choose Program. Find and choose a program that works, (Adobe, Foxit?), and then check the box: Always use this program to open this kind of file. This should enable you to open these attachments in the future. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "GWL" <gleese@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:A48D3CCF-FC2B-46C8-AFDF-02F4AA7824BE@xxxxxx Quote: > Has anyone found a way to get PDF attachments to open by clicking on the > attachment icon?
