    Importing Eudora Address Book

I have used Eudora for many years and wish to change to Windows Mail. Is it possible to import my Eudora addresses?

I doubt you'll find any Eudora experts here. Best to ask in a
Eudora users forum. Ask for a method to export to Outlook
Express, since that email client is more common and has
been around longer. Windows Mail can import from OE format.

You will need to import them to something like Thunderbird and from there to OE

    Re: Importing Eudora Address Book

I used to use Eudora several years ago. I now use Thunderbird, as well as
Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail. I don't think you can import your
    contacts directly.

You should be able to install Thunderbird
(http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/), open the address book, then
click on Tools - Import - Eudora
to import the Eudora address book.
Then export the Thunderbird address book to a CSV file.
Tools - Export - save as file type = comma separated
    save the file

Now in Windows Mail, or Windows Live Mail,
File - Import - Windows Contacts - CSV
find the file, map the fields, & import
