| Guest | Having trouble sending email while dialed up wirelessly from hotel Help suggests that it could be smtp (outgoing email)server that's not recognized. Any ideas on how to resolve after hours and out of state? I can receive mail but sent messages are stuck in outbox. -- Nate |

| Guest | Re: Having trouble sending email while dialed up wirelessly from hotel What you are experiencing is actually quite normal. You are not allowed to use a port 25 SMTP server that is on a different network than the network providing your Internet connection. For more on that policy, see http://www.postcastserver.com/help/P..._Blocking.aspx While traveling, it is best to use webmail for sending. The only other option is to get a Gmail account, because the Gmail SMTP server uses port 465, which is not blocked. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP "Nate" <Nate@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:B7720BBD-1B9F-4678-8026-E8E5A0EEAD51@xxxxxx Quote: > Help suggests that it could be smtp (outgoing email)server that's not > recognized.
