| | Re: error message 0x80004005 In the future, please include a copy of the complete error message. If your mail provider is AT&T/Yahoo, try this: Go to http://mail.yahoo.com and log in with your AT&T credentials. Then clean out all the folders in your webmail. If you want to save any messages, create a new folder and move those messages to the new folder. Empty the spam and thrash folders also. Close webmail, then try Windows Mail again. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP "Jane S" <Jane S@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:7867FD2D-2952-4B12-97AB-9D279B8A1923@xxxxxx Quote: >i have just opened windows mail and when I clicked on send/receive I get this > error message.
