| | Bounce instead of forward In a mail program I used in the past I could "bounce" a message as part of the forwarding function. When "bounced" to another e-mail, it looked as though the message came from the original sender. Is there a function in Windows Mail that does this? |

That feature is available in Windows Live Mail: http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP "Texans" <Texans@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:F9CBADE1-9C66-4B19-BE5E-6A6CEDF2E0A0@xxxxxx Quote: > In a mail program I used in the past I could "bounce" a message as part of > the forwarding function. | | Re: Bounce instead of forward You're welcome. Once you get WLM installed, go to its Tools, Safety Options, Blocked Senders, and click the Bounce box. I recommend you use this feature only for selected individuals, not for general spam. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP "Texans" <Texans@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:B7051058-2AFF-4859-89F2-C9BD5EBE3C6A@xxxxxx Quote: > Thanks for the reply. | | Re: Bounce instead of forward I have downloaded Windows Live Mail but I do see anyway to "bounce" mail so that it sends in the original sender's name. I can forward a message but it will look like it came from me, not from the original sender. I am missing something? | | Re: Bounce instead of forward Thanks Gary. I did that and understand that bounce. That is not what I am trying to do. Sometimes I want to "send" a message from my laptop to my desktop but I want the desktop message to show that it is from the original sender instead of me. In that way I can reply to them. My program that I have been using for years has that capability. It is Pegasus but there are a lot things I like about Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail. Thanks again for your help but I don't think these programs have that capability. | | Re: Bounce instead of forward What you describe is actually a function called Resend. Sorry for misunderstanding. Neither Windows Mail nor Windows Live Mail has it. -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP "Texans" <Texans@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:259C7427-B46E-4D40-BACD-96F36D46CCB1@xxxxxx Quote: > Thanks Gary.
