Returned Mail as Undeliverable

I am getting returned mail as undeliverable from one particular server
with the following message:

"-- This Message was undeliverable due to the following reason:

Each of the following recipients was rejected by a remote mail server.
The reasons given by the server are included to help you determine why
each recipient was rejected.

Recipient: <name@xxxxxx>
Reason: User [name-%-q@xxxxxx] does not exist to you

Please reply to Postmaster@<PostmasterDomain>
if you feel this message to be in error."

When I reply to Postmaster it says it is not a valid address.

Can anyone help? I can send to that address with my hotmail address and all
the rest of my contacts but only having problems with this one particular
server. I am using Time Warner Cable's Roadrunner as my email server.

RE: Returned Mail as Undeliverable

Perhaps that particular server is down at the moment.

Re: Returned Mail as Undeliverable

That email address name-%-q@xxxxxx looks rather strange.
I realize you have altered the part in front of @mfx.net to protect the
recipient's privacy, but I wonder if the recipient's email address has a
typo in it.

Which antivirus are you running, and is it configured to scan outgoing email?

Re: Returned Mail as Undeliverable

If you want to discuss problems with the Windows Live Mail program,
you're likely to get better answers in newsgroup:

microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

If you want to discuss problems with some other program in the
Windows Live family, which one?

Re: Returned Mail as Undeliverable

Does this problem happen with one recipient or all recipients?
It looks to me like one recipient's mail server is having a problem,
in which case your email program is not at fault. Ask that recipient if
they have an alternate email address.

Re: Returned Mail as Undeliverable

Yeah, it definitely sounded like a recipient mail server issue.
Thanks for the feedback.
